Dina was born in Forest Hills in Queens. New York. But she moved in Dix Hills on Long Island shortly before finishing her junior year. Her siblings include two younger ones and a brother who is older. Her first experience in the entertainment industry came when she did some modeling between the ages of nine and 16. Ron Stetson was her teacher at The Neighborhood Playhouse where she began studying Sanford Meisner's acting techniques for approximately three years. Sandra Bullock and Michael Douglas were among the actors that received this instruction. Her debut role was Beverly Hills 90210 which forced her to relocate to Los Angeles. After being offered the lead part on Johnny Mnemonic where she did all of the stunts her own, she proved herself as an actress who is physically fit. As well as the agency that represented Matt LeBlanc and agent, she was also in charge of a variety of regular roles in the show Friends.
