Mr. Capalot or Polo Capalot as he is often referred to from Chicago Illinois started to gain popularity after releasing songs on YouTube. He initially released tracks like the Come Up and Never Cared and made his first appearance on SoundCloud through the mixtape of his official POLO.G SOUND CLOUD. Gang With Me was Gang With Me's very first single. The song was followed up by another song, The Finer Things. The song was written in prison. It proved to be his breakthrough single and amassed million of hits on YouTube bringing him into the spotlight. Major record labels started to express interest. Pop Out feat. Lil Tjay was released by the rapper following his signing the deal to license his music with Columbia Records. The song received millions in views on YouTube. Additionally the song ranked 22nd place on the Billboard Hot 100. Polo G was soon a YouTube star and was well-known via social media platforms like Instagram and Twitter.
