She is popular for her appearances in Gilmore Girls, The WB/CW television show (2000-2007), where she was nominated for Screen Actors Guild (Golden Globe, Satellite Awards) and Sarah Braverman, on the NBC television drama Parenthood (2010)-2015. Graham's film work includes appearances in Sweet November (2001), Bad Santa (2003), The Pacifier (2005), Because I Said So (2007) as well as Evan Almighty (2007). Her first novel, Someday...Someday, Maybe, was published by Ballantine Books. Graham reprised her character as Lorelai on the Netflix series Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life in 2016.
